Self-catering Apartments “Due Mari” at Capo Vaticano

Location

“Due Mari”, which has very recently been built, lies in the magnificent natural setting of the Costa degli Dei (Gods’ Coast), stretching from Tropea to Capo Vaticano along a green coast. It is located only 5 km from Tropea and 2 km from Capo Vaticano, two world renowned areas of breathless natural beauty.

We offer our guests relaxing stays immersed in a green natural environment with olive and fruit plants and a variety of flowers that will attract you with their colours and perfumes, but also the cobalt blue sea and the exclusive view of Stromboli with its active volcano and black beach together with the other fabulous Aeolian Islands nearby.

“Due Mari” is located 500 mt from the nearest beach, where our guests can find peace and relaxation.

“Due Mari” is also bar, restaurant and pizzeria and can offer hospitality in a friendly and caring atmosphere with half or full board treatment, directly run by the Rizzo family.

Descriptions of the self-catering apartments (one room, two room or three room apartments):

One-room apartments with bathroom for 2 people:

1 dining room with double bed sofa and kitchenette;
1 bathroom with shower and exhaust fan;

We dispose of 2 one room apartments:

apart. N° 8 (17 sqm)

Two-room apartments for 2/4 people:

1 dining room with double bed sofa and kitchenette;
1 en-suite bedroom with double bed ( bathroom with shower);

We dispose of 5 two-room apartments:

four bedded apart. N° 1-2-3
two bedded apart. N° 7 (23 sqm)
five bedded apart. N° 9 (27 sqm)

(apart. n° 1 has bathroom with entrance both from dining room and bedroom)

Three-room apartments for 4/5 people:

1 dining room with kitchenette;
2 bedrooms;
1 bathroom with shower

We dispose of 3 three-room apartments:

apart. N° 4 (40 sqm)
apart. N° 5 (40 sqm) for up to 5 people
apart. N° 10 with roofed veranda (35 sqm)

Further information:

We dispose of a private car park.
Each apartment is comfortably furnished and equipped with cutlery and provisions.
All apartments are independent from each other.

The sandy beach nearby can be reached on foot from the apartments through a downhill road.

The nearby beaches of Tono (with white sand) and Capo Vaticano can be reached by car and in the peak season we offer a shuttle service to and from the Tono beach where it is also possible to hire beach umbrellas and deck chairs.

Weekly stays go from Saturday to Saturday in August.

Each apartment is available on Saturdays from 5 pm.

All guests are kindly requested to leave the apartment on Saturday or at the end of the stay by 9,00 am.

Discounted rates for monthly stays.

Guests can bring their own towels or bed linen or hire them here (in case of hiring, this should be specified when booking).

Prices include:

Water, electricity, gas and car park.

Prices don’t include:

€ 35 for cleaning of the apartment at the end of the stay.
Deposit of € 50 refundable at the end of the stay.
€ 6 for towel hiring
€ 10 for bed linen hiring (double bed)
€ 5 for bed linen hiring (single bed)

Additional facilities and services not included in the price:

Through “Due Mari” a weekly club card can be obtained at the nearby Adelphi Sport Centre (Capo Vaticano), where swimming pool, tennis court, five-a-side football, bowls, playing ground for children are available.
Possibility to take excursions on horseback in the countryside at the nearby Riding School.
Diving course at a Diving Centre nearby.
Excursions to the Aeolian Islands, Taormina (world renowned town in Sicily) and Sila (mountain area of great natural beauty).
Supermarket (300 mt away)
Disco (1km away)
Bus stop (300 mt away)

Payment:

30% of the total amount has to be paid through postal order or bank account when booking
the balance is due upon arrival
